Abstract : UNIRAZAK Library |
In recent years, nearly 3 billion employees have experienced extreme job stress at their workplace, affecting their overall job performance on a daily basis. The World Health Organization has measured the fast food industry in Malaysia and identified a lack of manpower, which has exacerbated the situation by forcing fast food workers to work extended hours with elevated stress levels and reduced flexibility. In this research project, we have used a quantitative method, a questionnaire, to collect data from the respondents. Questionnaires were administered in fast food restaurants in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor , and Perak . The sample size of this research study was 180 individuals. The primary objective of the study was to investigate how job ambiguity, work overload, work environment, and work-life balance impact the job performance of retail fast food employees in Malaysia. The research aimed to identify how stress affects job performance. The results showed that job ambiguity, work environment, and work-life balance significantly affect the job performance of retail fast food employees |
