This paper delves into the critical endeavour of achieving organizational goals amidst crises, with a particular focus on the intertwined dynamics of economic downturns and political instability. Employing a primary quantitative research methodology with convenience sampling, the study meticulously examines the landscape where economic crises and political turmoil intersect, uncovering their robust positive correlation. Notably, organizational performance emerges as a pivotal concern, exhibiting the lowest mean among all variables under scrutiny. Drawing from an extensive literature review on human resource capabilities, the research operationalizes and measures independent variables to discern their impact on organizational resilience. Through the utilization of closed-ended questionnaires administered via online surveys, facilitated by modern technology, the study underscores the salience of strategic human resource management (SHRM) in bolstering business development amidst disruptive environments. The discussion delineates the efficacy of SHRM in enhancing both the organizational milieu and workforce performance, especially in the face of environmental disruptions. It highlights the dynamic interplay between HR practices and firm environments, advocating for a strategic alignment of HR policies with contemporary business exigencies. Moreover, the paper accentuates the necessity of proactive and flexible HR management, emphasizing the strategic deployment of workforce planning, resilience building, talent management, and sustainability practices. |
