In Malaysia, Government Linked Companies (GLCs) are known for their strong ties to the government, significant public ownership, and the responsibility to achieve a balance between business objectives and public policy goals. The objective of this study was to examine the influence of the transformational leadership style on the organizational performance of GLCs. The study established and evaluated hypotheses to examine the link between independent factors (idealized influence, customized consideration, inspiring motivation, intellectual stimulation) and the dependent variable (organizational performance), based on specified objectives. The study employed a descriptive research methodology, utilizing a modified survey questionnaire as the primary tool for data collection. The study focuses on employees working in Malaysian GLC, with a total of 250 respondents participating in the survey. At the end of the study, the researcher tend to conclude Transformational Leadership style impacted on the organizational performance as the R square value for the research is 0.772 which indicates that FOUR (4) independent variables have 77.2% variation in organisational performance at GLCs in Malaysia. |
