This research explores the intricate dynamics between I4.0 Readiness and Organizational Performance dimensions within the plastic products manufacturing sector in Malaysia. Drawing from extensive literature review and empirical analysis, the study investigates the significant contributions of managements readiness, organizational capability and institutional support factors on I4.0 Readiness alongside its correlations with Organizational Performance in the context of operational performance, product quality, and financial performance. By employing a cross-sectional research design and leveraging validated measurement scales adopted from prior studies, the research systematically assesses the readiness levels of plastic product manufacturers for Industry 4.0 adoption. The data collection process involves a structured survey distributed to identified companies, targeting senior-level employees across various business sectors within the plastic product manufacturing industry.
