Abstract : UNIRAZAK Library |
The rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, particularly the emergence of Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) models, present exciting opportunities for enhancing software development productivity. This research aims to investigate the impact of integrating GPT on software development productivity by examining the relationships between perceived usefulness of GPT, perceived ease of use of GPT, developer skills and experience, and improved software development productivity. Grounded in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the SPACE framework, a quantitative research methodology is employed, involving an online survey of 385 software developers in Malaysia who have used GPT-based tools. |
