This research investigates the impact of generational cohorts on project management success in Sarawak, Malaysia. It addresses the need for more understanding of how generational differences affect project management success, particularly in a culturally diverse context like Sarawak. The purpose is to examine the effect of skill gaps, language gaps, and cultural differences on project management effectiveness by different generations, including Baby boomers, Gen X, Gen Y, and Gen Z.
