Rapid technology improvements in the modern period have made it critical for various generational cohorts to be able to adapt in agile organizational contexts. This study investigates Millennials' and Generation Z's adaptability to technology disruptions within Malaysian agile organisations, as well as the ensuing influence on organisational performance. This research delves into the adaptability of Millennials and Gen Z to technological disruptions within Malaysian agile organizations and its subsequent impact on organizational performance. Through a quantitative research methodology, data was gathered from 100 employees spanning various industries using structured questionnaires. The study used Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) for data analysis, revealing that both Millennials and Generation Z exhibit significant adaptability in agile situations, hence improving organisational performance. This adaptability serves as a mediator in the relationship between agile organisational practices and organisational outcomes, emphasising the importance of generational characteristics in navigating technology changes. The results indicate that organizations can elevate their performance by cultivating environments that facilitate rapid learning and adaptability, tailored to the distinct characteristics of younger generational cohorts. This study contributes to the realm of strategic human resource practices by shedding light on the pivotal role of generational adaptability in attaining heightened organizational performance amidst technological disruptions. |
