Abstract : UNIRAZAK Library
Employee retention is a critical aspect of organizational success, particularly in today's dynamic and competitive business landscape. This thesis explores the various factors that influence employee retention within organizations, focusing on the role of Human Resource Management (HRM) practices. The primary objective is to gain a deeper understanding of how different aspects of HRM contribute to employee retention and organizational sustainability. This study adopts a quantitative descriptive approach to investigate the research questions. Data collection is primarily conducted through surveys administered to employees across different industries and organizational sizes. The research design involves the use of structured questionnaires to gather relevant information on compensation structures, job satisfaction levels, and turnover rates. Statistical analysis techniques, including correlation and regression analysis, are employed to analyze the collected data and draw meaningful insights. This study reveals the key role of job satisfaction as a mediator between compensation and employee retention, stressing the importance of both monetary and non-monetary compensation in boosting satisfaction and commitment. Future research should explore longitudinal effects, moderating factors, and alternative mediators to enhance HR strategies for better employee retention and organizational success.
