Abstract : UNIRAZAK Library
The fascinating experiences and state-of-the-art technologies at Genting Theme Park invite us to discover the complex relationships between technological innovation, employee engagement, and organizational performance. This research explores the current theoretical landscape and offers a thorough model to comprehend this dynamic interaction within Genting's distinct setting. Throughout our tech generation, the acceptance and use of information system (IS) and information technology (IT) innovations has been a major concern for research and practice. Over the last several decades, a plethora of theoretical models have been proposed and used to examine IS/IT acceptance and usage, thus it shows the basic link between employee experiences and technology improvements is where our journey starts. We predict that more adoption of technologies such as VR coasters and AI-powered guest services will have a beneficial impact on employee happiness and engagement, based on the UTAUT model (Venkatesh et al., 2003). The JCM model's proposal on the perceived usefulness and ease of use of these technologies strengthens this relationship even more (Hackman & Oldham, 1975). A positive feedback loop for the adoption of innovation is also fostered by the expectation that personnel with better levels of technological proficiency and training will be more engaged and satisfied with their work (Akter et al., 2011).
