In an era where 5G technology promises to revolutionize connectivity, it is crucial to understand the factors influencing its adoption. This study investigates the key drivers of 5G adoption and utilization among employees in Klang Valley, focusing on socioeconomic factors, awareness levels, and employee perceptions—a cross-sectional survey collected self-reported data from a diverse sample of employees. The analysis reveals that higher education, income, and technological familiarity significantly enhance 5G adoption. Interestingly, while awareness alone does not drive adoption, positive perceptions about 5G's benefits play a critical role. These findings suggest that effective promotion strategies should integrate improvements in socioeconomic conditions, targeted awareness campaigns, and efforts to foster positive perceptions. This comprehensive approach is essential for accelerating 5G adoption and harnessing its full potential. This study offers valuable insights for policymakers and organizations aiming to facilitate the adoption of 5G technology in KlangValley. |
