Abstract : UNIRAZAK Library
This research proposal examines at the impact workplace diversity has on worker performance in a DHL organization. In an era if shifts in demographics and globalization are affecting the nature of the workforce, an understanding of the effects of diversity is critical to organizational performance. The primary focus of this study is diversity in terms of age, gender, ethnicity, and educational attainment. The impact of these variables on worker performance is also examined. The study applies a quantitative approach, investigating the correlations between the variables through statistical analysis. Structured surveys will be used to gather data from a representative sample of workers in various departments and employment levels within a logistics organization. In addition to self-reported performance indicators and perceptions of diversity, the poll will include objective performance data supplied by the organization. It is anticipated that age diversity will contribute a range of perspectives and experiences, which may improve decision-making and problem-solving skills. An inclusive and cooperative work atmosphere may result from gender diversity, which would boost productivity and job satisfaction. A wider variety of concepts and cultural insights may be fostered by ethnic diversity, which could boost innovation and provide an edge over competitors. Diverse knowledge bases and skill sets from education are expected to merge, promoting more productive teamwork. Important factors influencing employee performance will be identified, and the strength of these relationships will be assessed, using multiple regression analysis and other statistical techniques. The insights provided by this research will be extremely valuable to HR professionals and organizational leaders as they develop strategies to best utilize a diverse workforce. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the body of knowledge regarding diversity management and its impact on organizational outcomes, particularly in the logistics sector. By showing the advantages of workplace diversity on employee performance, this research highlights how critical it is to create an inclusive and diverse work environment as a strategic emphasis for enhancing organizational performance and competitiveness.
