The integration of gamification in educational settings has garnered significant attention as a promising approach to enhance student engagement and motivation. This study investigates the effectiveness of gamification in promoting student engagement within the context of primary school education, specifically Khalifah Model School. Through a mixed-methods approach, data was collected from a sample of primary school students using surveys, and interview session with the teachers. The study examines the impact of gamified elements, such as leaderboard and rewards, on students' levels of engagement and participation. Additionally, factors influencing the effectiveness of gamification, including student preferences, teacher facilitation, and time management are explored. Findings reveal insights into the potential benefits and challenges associated with implementing gamification strategies in primary school classrooms. The results of this study contribute to the growing body of research on gamification in education and provide practical recommendations for educators and policymakers seeking to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes in primary school settings. |
