Abstract : UNIRAZAK Library
The fast rise in the use of social platforms for online commerce has prompted a strong interest in understanding customer in the online purchasing environment, particularly on increasingly popular platforms such as 'TikTok Shop'. In this study, we propose an examination into the elements that influence user in 'TikTok Shop'. Website design, social influence, privacy concerns, and brand reputation are among the primary focus factors. This study seeks to gain a thorough knowledge of the process of user development in the 'TikTok Shop' purchasing environment by including a complete literature review and theoretical frameworks from the domains of psychology, sociology, and marketing. Using a mixed-methods approach that includes both quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, we intend to collect significant insights that will inform marketing tactics, platform design, and regulatory initiatives aimed at increasing user in the 'TikTok Shop' environment. By exposing the drivers and barriers to trust formation, this study is expected to contribute significantly to theoretical knowledge in the fields of consumer behavior and social commerce, as well as provide relevant practical implications for businesses, policymakers, and users navigating the changing landscape of online shopping.
