Abstract : UNIRAZAK Library
The objective of this case study is to examine the underlying factors contributing to absenteeism in Byte Performance Sdn Bhd and suggest possible strategies to address this concern. The main aim of this study is to offer valuable insights to management in order to decrease absenteeism and improve employee well-being. The study aims to provide practical recommendations for addressing the issue of absenteeism and promoting a more engaged workforce. The project was jointly led by the author and human resources personnel, with support from the Workforce Management (WFM) team. The research included a sample size of 237 employees, with the exception of Team Managers. In order to collect data, a confidential questionnaire in the form of a survey was disseminated to all employees through email. The survey provided participants with a guarantee of anonymity by refraining from requesting their names or identification numbers.In summary, this case study provides an analysis of absenteeism in Byte Performance Sdn Bhd, focusing on the endeavors to comprehend the fundamental factors and suggest viable solutions. The study seeks to make a contribution towards the organization's objective of enhancing attendance rates, promoting employee satisfaction, and cultivating a healthier work environment by examining the issue of absenteeism.
