Abstract : UNIRAZAK Library |
This qualitative case study explores preschool teachers' perspectives on fostering emotional resilience among preschool children at an international school, examining their practices, perceived importance, and challenges. Using semi-structured online interviews with teachers, the study identified key strategies, including attachmentbuilding, emotional regulation techniques, and social skill development. Findings reveal that while teachers recognize emotional resilience as vital for children's holistic growth, their efforts are hindered by barriers such as limited resources, curriculum constraints, and cultural factors. The study suggests the need for integrating socialemotional learning (SEL) into the curriculum, enhanced teacher training, and collaborative support from parents and the community. Future research should expand sample diversity, incorporate observational data, and adopt longitudinal approaches to assess the long-term effects of resilience-building practices. |
