Abstract : UNIRAZAK Library |
This study aims to examine the essential of types of Flexible Working Arrangement (“FWA”) and how it affected the employees’ job motivation in the property industry in Klang Valley Malaysia. The study reviewed Vroom’s Expectancy Theory, and Hertzberg’s Two Factor Theory, as well as empirical research that are relevant to the study. Besides that, the quantitative approach of data analysis was used and data was collected from 378 survey questionnaires received from the employees in property industry, and SPSS software was used to analyse the data. The study employed non-probability sampling technique, specifically judgmental sampling. The outcome of the study indicates that there is a substantial positive correlation between all the types of FWA namely flexible working hours, remote work, job sharing, and compressed workweek and employees’ job motivation. Therefore, it is significant for the property developer to continue practicing FWA as it can enhance their employees’ job motivation and performance. |
