This study explores the impact of Balanced Scorecard (BSC)-aligned practices on organizational change in Malaysian corporate companies, focusing on the mediating role of organizational culture. In an increasingly dynamic corporate environment, aligning performance management with strategic goals is critical for navigating change. By examining a sample of 50 managers across various sectors, this research investigates how BSC practices foster a culture that enhances strategic alignment and innovation, ultimately leading to successful organizational change. The findings reveal a significant positive relationship between BSC-aligned practices and organizational culture, emphasizing the importance of a strong, adaptable culture in driving change. The study also highlights the mediating effect of organizational culture, showing that it amplifies the success of BSC implementation during periods of transformation. This research contributes to the limited empirical studies on performance management in developing economies, providing practical insights for corporate leaders in Malaysia. The study’s limitations include a small sample size and a cross-sectional design, with recommendations for future research to include longitudinal approaches and larger samples for broader validation. |
