Abstract : UNIRAZAK Library
This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of digital training tools in enhancing operational efficiency within Malaysia’s oil and gas sector. The research focused on examining how perceived usefulness, ease of use, technology adoption, technological infrastructure, and organizational culture influence learning outcomes and operational performance. A quantitative research design was employed, utilizing structured surveys to collect data from employees across multiple departments within the sector. The data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple regression analyses to identify the relationships between key variables and operational efficiency. The results demonstrated that digital training tools, such as e-learning platforms, virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR), significantly improved both learning outcomes and operational performance. Employees who participated in digital training exhibited increased productivity, faster task completion, and fewer errors. Moreover, the study underscored the pivotal role of organizational culture in driving the successful adoption and implementation of these tools. In conclusion, the study suggests that strategic investments in digital training technologies can lead to marked improvements in operational efficiency. The findings offer valuable insights for organizations in Malaysia’s oil and gas sector, highlighting that the integration of advanced training technologies, supported by a conducive organizational culture, can significantly enhance employee performance. These results contribute to the broader understanding of digital training’s role in fostering industrial efficiency and provide practical recommendations for optimizing training strategies.
